OCTOBER SOUNDS

October 2016

Entering the final days into the US election, studying for midterms, and trying to remain in a good state of mind consumed me. October was just there and gone. It’s already the second week of November now and I’m just now getting to throwing these sounds on up here. It’s been a mess.

October started out with a Gator win (barely) at Vanderbilt, the next week Florida had another hurricane (shocker) so the LSU game was ‘postponed until further notice’. Homecoming happened here at the University of Florida the next weekend–I’ve never seen more 45 year olds handle so much alcohol, but I guess they did go to college here. The next week was a BYE week and I absolutely enjoyed sleeping in and actually catching up on school. The next weekend, I went to Disney with a long-time friend and his family and it was a great time! We did Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and raced up a ┬áton of candy. The next day we went to Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival, but there were so many people everywhere, so we just waited in the Soarin’ line for–105 minutes–ridiculous, I know. But it was the new Soarin’ that included scenes from all over the world, not just California. Walt Disney knows how to put on a show. And Georgia lost Florida-Georgia, so it was a 10/10 weekend. ┬áThen I came back to school, it was my best friend’s birthday (I see you MC) even though she lives in Mississippi and we’ll celebrate during Thanksgiving Break

Then two more weeks flew by and here I am in the second week of November writing this and wondering where the time went.
